Job summary

Pivotal Retail Group is seeking a Commercial Carpenter/FF&E Installer to join a high-performing team delivering millwork installations across the Southeast. You’ll read blueprints, set cabinetry and fixtures, and ensure precise alignment on every project, often on extended on-site assignments.

Travel is a core part of the role, with hotel accommodations provided and a clear path to Lead Installer or Project Lead as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial carpentry, millwork, FF&E installation, or construction (preferred).
• Ability to read tape measures and basic construction drawings.
• Dependable transportation.
• Personal tool kit: drill, impact, circular saw, tape measure, hammer, screwdrivers, etc.
• Capable of lifting 50+ pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Willing to travel for extended durations.

Responsibilities

• Set millwork: cabinetry, countertops, trim, wall panels, and casework to exacting specs.
• Assemble and install fixtures: shelving, displays, and furnishings for complete floor sets.
• Read and act on blueprints, shop drawings, and install plans to sequence work.
• Install specialty items: bathroom accessories, wall protection, graphics, doors, hardware, and equipment.
• Operate hand/power tools safely; maintain a clean, professional site.
• Travel as part of a high-performing team across the Southeast.
