Job summary

Gastroenterology of the Rockies is seeking a Float Endo Tech to travel among all Endoscopy Centers in the Boulder County/Denver Metro area. The role involves cleaning and maintaining equipment used in endoscopy procedures and ensuring patient and staff satisfaction across sites.

You will monitor instrument condition, assist with equipment issues, maintain infection control and PPE compliance, and coordinate supply orders to keep centers stocked.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Some medical experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to use various equipment.
• Willingness to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean sterile environment and monitor supplies.
• Monitor endoscope condition and inform proper personnel of issues.
• Assist staff and doctors with equipment problems.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines including PPE.
• Perform room turnover, setup and bed cleaning as directed.
• Participate in staff meetings and help implement new processes.
• Reconcile money and credit card transactions with Accounting.
• Keep documentation accurate and timely; complete end-of-day checklist.
• Communicate respectfully to preserve patient rights and dignity.
• Perform other duties as requested by nursing staff or management.
