Job summary

Nightingale Nurses - Allied seeks a Travel Endoscopy Technician for a 12-week assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The role requires 2 years of endoscopy experience and proficiency with high-level, complex cases, with shifts of 10 hours on days and 4-10 hour shifts per week with rotating call.

Requirements include a High School diploma, BLS, CO DORA Surgical Tech registration, and CER certification. SGNA Associate credentials are highly preferred. Travel position with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association is required.
• Registered with DORA as a CO Surgical Tech, required in Colorado.
• Highly preferred: SGNA Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program.
• Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification.
• 2 years of Endo experience is required.
• Advanced Case Endo experience is also required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff and physician during procedures with equipment setup and operation.
• Disinfects and processes endoscopic equipment; assists with troubleshooting of equipment.
• Sets up room for procedures and transports patients as needed.
• Stocks rooms with supplies and equipment; assists patients with dressing and ambulation as directed by nursing staff.
• Assist with applying EKG monitors, BP cuff and pulse oximetry prior to case start.
• Support provider with high-level, complex endoscopic cases.

SHIFTS: 4-10-hour shifts per week with rotating call. CERTS: High School diploma or equivalent required. BLS through the American Heart Association is required. Registered with DORA as a CO Surgical Tech, required in Colorado. Highly preferred: Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program. Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification. EXPERIENCE: 2 years of Endo experience is required. Advanced Case Endo experience is also required. We need an Endo Tech that is very experienced and can assist our Provider with high-level, complex cases.
