Job summary

Gastroenterology of the Rockies is seeking a Float Endoscopy Technician to cover Lafayette, Longmont, Boulder and surrounding centers in the Denver area. The role supports endoscopy procedures, maintains sterile environments, and ensures equipment is properly cleaned and ready.

You will be responsible for monitoring scopes, assisting doctors and nurses, and managing supply and patient safety in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED.
Some medical experience preferred, but not mandatory.
Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in written form with staff and with equipment vendors.
High level ability to function as a member of a team.
Intermediate computer skills, and ability to work with a variety of machinery.
Dependable vehicle for travel.

Responsibilities

Maintaining a clean sterile environment with all equipment and monitor supply levels.
Monitors endoscope condition and notifies proper personnel to prevent complications.
Assists staff and doctors with issues related to scope, processor, and auxiliary equipment.
Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff; consults nurse/doctor for management of problems.
Performs room turnover, room setup and bed cleaning as per facility guidelines.
Keeps documentation complete and on time; reconciles money and card transactions with Accounting.
