PDS Health is hiring a Dental Assistant for Manor Modern Dentistry in Manor, Texas. You will support clinicians to deliver the Perfect Patient Experience, while assisting with patient care, office duties, and dental laboratory tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and state-mandated dental assisting training. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required for travel between offices. You will join a collaborative team focused on quality care.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training to obtain certification/licensure.
• Certificate/license: as mandated by state for dental assistants.
• Specialty dental assistants must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, with travel to multiple offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per state tables of permitted dental assistant duties.
• Assist clinicians to ensure PPE delivers optimal patient experience.
• Escort patients to/from front desk and introduce team members.
• Coordinate with front and back office to keep orthodontist schedules running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and infection control compliant environment.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentist to deliver efficient care.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by clinicians.
• Prepare tray setups and manage supply levels in operatories.
