Job summary

WellStar Health Systems is seeking an Emergency Nurse to join the W.E.S.T. Float Pool, delivering expert care across WellStar facilities with travel between locations. This role supports a dynamic, nationwide network and values compassionate nursing leadership.

Requirements include 2+ years in an ED, BSN preferred, and active RN license (GA or Compact), BLS/ACLS/PALS, with TNCC/ATCN preferred. You’ll triage, treat, educate patients and families, and document in fast-paced ED settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) required.
• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required; BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC/ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with WellStar standards.
