Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician. This role suits an experienced low-voltage technician who enjoys traveling and working onsite with customers.

Responsibilities include installing, testing, and maintaining security projects, providing product training, and ensuring regulatory safety compliance. Strong communication and the ability to work autonomously are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CPR/First Aid card.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Good communication skills to interface with customers.
• Ability to schedule appointments and understand code requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously and with others.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to our customers onsite by providing service and training.
• Ensures safety through compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Handles service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure the client is ready for inspection.
