Job summary

Delta Construction Partners, Inc. seeks a Traveling Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction across commercial and industrial projects.

You will lead field crews, coordinate with subcontractors, and partner with project management to ensure installations meet safety, schedule, budget, and quality requirements. The role requires directing daily field operations, planning labor and materials, and maintaining on-site leadership while traveling to multiple project sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship or related technical training preferred.
• Significant electrical construction experience, including prior experience as a superintendent, general foreman, or comparable field leader.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, construction safety practices, and electrical installation methods.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily electrical field operations, including workforce planning, work assignments, and installation sequencing.
• Lead foremen, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors to meet project milestones and productivity goals.
• Enforce site safety requirements and conduct regular safety meetings and jobsite inspections.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and installation requirements to plan and execute work.
• Coordinate electrical activities with general contractors, other trades, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Plan labor, material, tool, and equipment needs to maintain efficient operations.
• Monitor installation quality and compliance with applicable electrical codes and project standards.
• Identify field conflicts, communicate changes, and support requests for information and change documentation.
• Track progress, labor hours, deliveries, and daily jobsite activities.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, punch-list work, and project closeout.
• Coach field personnel and promote accountability, teamwork, and professional development.
• Travel to assigned projects and maintain an on-site leadership presence throughout each assignment.
