Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field supervision and coordinate foremen, laborers, and craft workers. You will organize work, schedule, and verify conformance with drawings and specifications while maintaining strong client and team relationships.

You will oversee cost updates, change orders, and project turnover, and you will travel as needed to project sites. A proven leadership record and safety focus are essential for success at Kiewit.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' construction experience with 5+ years in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity (preferably OGC).
• Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn Kiewit policies, procedures and software.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and help to grow Jr. Superintendents.
• Review and approve labor rates for Foremen, journeymen and laborers.
• Manage contract administration and subcontractor communications.
• Develop programs to maintain client relations on site.
• Attend meetings with client for problem resolution and planning.
• Oversee monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections.
• Review, approve and negotiate change orders.
• Plan project completion and turnover.
• Maintain daily diary for record keeping.
• Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Recommend organizational or procedural improvements.
• Review and approve promotions up to General Foremen.
