Leapros Skilled Trades is hiring a Traveling Electrical Superintendent in Sterling Heights, MI. You will oversee field labor, materials, and production for commercial and industrial electrical construction across North America, with a Monday–Friday schedule, and provide technical leadership to Foremen while coordinating with Project Managers and General Contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent, plus 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Current IBEW Journeyman Inside Wireman card in good standing or willingness to join IBEW.
• Must hold Journeyman Wireman license where required by jurisdiction.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specs, single-line drawings, and NFPA codes.
• Proven track record leading projects with foremen on commercial/industrial jobs.
• Strong knowledge of power systems installation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products, Bluebeam and Autodesk.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all field production activities and assist Foremen in planning jobs, ordering materials and manpower.
• Collaborate with PMs, Regional Supers, and Director of Field Operations to set goals and monitor progress.
• Review labor efficiencies, hours, ratios, and maintain labor tracking per project.
• Monitor and enforce NEC and codes, and company installation standards.
• Prepare, review, distribute, and maintain installation documentation and as-builts.
• Track material costs, storage, consumption, and orders to minimize costs.
• Communicate with owners, architects, GCs, management, and crew on status and requirements.
• Ensure safety equipment on-site and enforce safety policies across projects.
• Adhere to change orders and company change policies throughout all phases.
