The State Group is seeking a Traveling Electrical Superintendent to support multiple projects across the United States.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Build electrical teams that drive project performance by monitoring progress against project estimates and schedules, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Lead site coordination with multiple trades and subcontractors to maintain schedule alignment, quality standards, and safe work practices to ensure seamless project execution from initiation through completion.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships by collaborating with clients and contractors throughout the pre- and post-tender phases.
  • Independently review bid documents and customer specifications to support project leadership with detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and related costs.
  • Support comprehensive cost analyses and evaluate project performance weekly.
  • Support Change Management and track schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure all construction activities meet or exceed established quality standards, specifications, and client expectations.
  • Develop high-performing teams by evaluating employee performance, providing coaching and training, and ensuring subcontractor work meets contract scope, safety, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Adhere to State Group’s standards and operating procedures, including those related to ISO 9001:2015.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM
  • 15+ years of electrical construction supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience leading electrical construction teams on large industrial construction projects, within the $5M plus range.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to support Scheduling software.
  • Experience supporting projects of varying scales — from service and maintenance work to large, multi-disciplinary turnkey projects preferred.
  • Strong time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Must be willing to travel for the projects.
  • Must be with the Union.
