Summit Line Construction is seeking Electrical QA/QC Inspectors to join our team for multiple projects across the country. Travel is required and the selected candidate must be willing to work on-site at various project locations for the duration of each project.

The QA/QC Inspector will perform quality assurance/control inspections for construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with IEEE, NESC, and ACI standards, maintaining meticulous documentation, and communicating findings

Formación

• Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quality Management and/or related field experience.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish highly preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years in QA/QC roles within electrical utility industry, preferably transmission lines or related field experience.
• Certifications: ISO9001, CQI, ISO, ICC, ACI preferred.
• Knowledge: Electrical and civil engineering principles, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Skills: Detail-oriented, analytical, strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Technical: Proficient with inspection tools/software; familiarity with quality management systems.
• Platforms: Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, Project; Procore desired.
• Willing to travel: As needed.
• Compliance: Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct detailed inspections of construction components including foundations, steel structures, electrical equipment, control wiring, and grounding systems.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC inspection reports and logs; communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Document inspection results and quality concerns; participate in safety audits.
• Review drawings/submittals for conformance to project specs; coordinate with project team for corrective actions.
• Lead QA/QC meetings and training to ensure understanding of standards and procedures.
