Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services company, seeks a QA/QC Inspector to join our Santa Teresa, NM team. This role performs quality assurance and control inspections on construction and maintenance projects, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

You will document findings, prepare inspection reports, and collaborate with project teams to implement corrective actions, while upholding company procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical or civil engineering, ISO9001 or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years QA/QC experience in electrical utility industry, substations/renewables preferred.
• Certifications such as CQI, OSHA, CPR/First Aid are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections of foundations, steel structures, electrical equipment, control wiring, and grounding systems.
• Review drawings and submittals for conformance with project specs and applicable standards.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC inspection reports and project submittal logs.
• Document inspection results and communicate quality concerns to stakeholders promptly.
• Lead QA/QC meetings and participate in safety audits to improve site safety and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, NESC, ACI and local, state, and federal regulations.
