Job summary

Premise Inc. is seeking a General Foreman (GFM) to lead electrical and construction crews on multi-site projects in Minnesota. You will develop crews, monitor progress, and keep projects on schedule and within budget, while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Foreman/Construction Manager experience in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Telecommunications or Electrical.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, crews and customers.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and SOW.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage project construction from start to finish, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Assist the Project Manager with critical path schedules for new sites.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective measures for timely completion.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials, tools and equipment per plan.
• Conduct regular site inspections for quality and safety.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including other managers, customers, and subcontractors.
• Supervise crews and subcontractors, assign tasks, and resolve conflicts.
• Provide performance feedback and develop team members.
• Approve daily time and reporting from Foremen and Subcontractors.
• Create and monitor two-week look-ahead and daily schedules.
