Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation seeks a Traveling Assistant Project Manager to support the end-to-end lifecycle of large electrical construction projects across Commercial, Health Care, Data Centers, and Light Industrial sectors.

You will co-locate at project sites with a travel plan, build client relations, and assist in budgeting, procurement, engineering, and installation while ensuring quality and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Co-locate at project location with travel package aligned to Hunt Electric traveling plan.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree preferred in relevant discipline.
  • NEC knowledge and blueprint reading experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager across the project lifecycle from procurement to installation.
  • Build strong customer relations and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Help optimize project economics and budget adherence.
  • Master project documentation including files, schedules, reports and billing.
  • Handle submittals and close-outs meticulously.
  • Be a versatile team player and adapt to varied tasks.

You'll tackle various tasks and responsibilities to broaden your skill set and contribute to our team's success.Qualifications and Education RequirementsWilling and able to co-locate at the project location with travel package that aligns with the Hunt Electric traveling plan.High School Diploma or equivalent.Two (2) year degree in electrical construction, construction management, similar discipline, or equivalent experience.National Electrical Code knowledge preferred.Drawing/blueprint reading, and specification experience preferred.Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word computer skills.Bluebeam and CAD experience preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to meet daily deadlines.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Physical RequirementsThis position operates at an industrial job site and is exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and noise, possibly requiring closed toed shoes, as well as occasional use of a hard hat and eye protection.This position also operates in a professional office environment.
