Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project financials including budgeting and cost control.
• Monitor billings, projections, and cash flow; prepare and communicate changes to clients.
• Develop change orders with cost and schedule impacts; report to client and internal teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Direct and supervise foremen and crews to ensure contract compliance and safety.
• Address field and office concerns to maintain morale and customer expectations.
• Lead project planning through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation; supervise teams.

Job Description Summary

As a Traveling Senior Project Manager for at Hunt Electric Corporation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning and execution of advanced electrical projects nationwide. From automotive assembly plants to mission-critical data centers, you will be instrumental in managing project finances, facilitating seamless communication, and fostering collaboration among internal departments and external clients. Your responsibilities extend to building and maintaining customer relationships, overseeing project teams to fulfill contractual obligations, and ensuring compliance. This role not only demands precision and attention to detail but also requires the flexibility to co-locate at the project location with a travel package that aligns with the Hunt Electric traveling plan. Role & Responsibilities

• The primary responsibilities for this role will be related to managing all aspects of the project financials.
• Monitor project billings, projections, and cash flow to ensure accuracy.
• Assisting with the development of proposed change orders and communicating cost and schedule impact information to the client.
• Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external team.
• Direct and supervise general foremen, foremen and their crews in a manner as to comply with the contracts executed by Hunt Electric Corporation, union agreements, and all policies and procedures.
• Address office and/or field related concerns to maintain jobsite morale and customer expectations.
• Manage assigned project as economically as possible while recognizing commitment to quality workmanship, positive industry image and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare, process, and maintain all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and billing necessary to perform the responsibilities of the contract.
• Direct the planning of the project through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.
• Assist with project Cost Codes/WBS/SOV’s/Phases, estimating, and project comparisons.
• Identify project concerns and work with senior leadership to improve overall health of the project.
• Attend monthly meetings to review project financial standing with project team, Partners, Customer, etc.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing and able to co-locate at the project location with travel package that aligns with the Hunt Electric traveling plan.
• Experience: 8+ years managing complex electrical projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and codes (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and align efforts with project goals.
• Budget Management: Skilled in resource allocation, cost control, and maximizing profitability.
• Risk Management: Expertise in identifying risks, resolving conflicts, and ensuring smooth execution.
• Client Relations: Strong communication and relationship-building with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Bluebeam, Accubid Enterprise) and electrical schematics.
• Compliance: Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards in the electrical industry.
• Proven Success: Track record of delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Physical Requirements

• This position operates at an industrial job site and is exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and noise, possibly requiring closed toed shoes, as well as occasional use of a hard hat and eye protection.
• This job also operates in a professional construction office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.
• Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.
• This position requires the ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
• This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range

$143,360.00 - $184,320.00

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
