Job summary

Lee Spring Company in Brooklyn, NY seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to own and advance a robust safety program across all facilities. You will work hands-on on the plant floor, translating OSHA/Regulatory requirements into practical actions for operators and supervisors.

You will lead safety program development, incident investigations, and continuous improvement, including environmental management initiatives and cross-site audits. Expect up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and related standards.
• Experience managing OSHA inspections and regulatory correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Own OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulatory compliance across all Lee Spring facilities.
• Develop and maintain written safety programs (Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, etc.).
• Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses and implement engineering controls in machining environments.
• Travel to multiple facilities for audits, training, and program alignment.
