Job summary

Cascade Environmental, LLC is hiring for a West Jordan drilling position. You will operate drill rigs, maintain daily reports, and ensure equipment is safe and in good working condition. You will lead a drilling crew, keep MSDS/CEU’s/JSA’s knowledge up to date, and complete inspections and logs.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work 10–12 hour days with a 6 on/1 off schedule. Limited travel is involved with compensation including hourly pay, paid time off, and bonuses per

Qualifications

• CDL Class A and State Driller License preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in the drilling industry, with at least one year operating a variety of rigs.
• Negative drug test.
• Background check clear or acceptable on a case-by-case basis.
• Valid driver’s license for the resident state and clean MVR.
• DOT medical card and FMCSA compliance to operate CMV.
• Passing a HAZWOPER physical.
• Legal right to work in the United States (IRCA).
• Respiratory protection requirements may apply per site health plan.

Responsibilities

• Operate drill rigs and drilling equipment with high proficiency
• Maintain daily drilling reports
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition and conduct routine and preventative maintenance, as needed
• Lead a drilling crew by training and mentoring employees and maintaining a safe environment
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MSDS, CEU’s and JSA’s
• Approve employee timesheets
• Complete well logs, logbook, repair orders, tailgates, and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Promote positive and professional relationships with team members and clients
• Maintain all required certifications
• Be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Completes other duties and projects, as assigned
