Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC seeks a Traveling Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, operate drilling equipment, and verify utilities via potholing, while maintaining bore schedules and site readiness.

The role requires 18+ years old, valid work authorization in the U.S., and a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain). Company offers robust benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid state driver’s license (not Provisional) and clean driving record.
• Class A Commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, including capabilities, limitations, and setup/design processes.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize 'Mud' mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll do

What you'll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely : work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds

• Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Traveling Drill Bores Operator is $24.00 - $35.00 .
