Ahtna, Incorporated is seeking a Dredge Operator (Leverman) to safely operate dredging equipment and process material on marine projects in Florida. You will monitor performance, adjust settings, and work with project teams to meet production goals while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

The role requires five years in marine or dredging environments, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug and background checks.

Competenze

• Five years of experience in marine or dredging environments.
• Experience operating hydraulic dredges with multiple boosters inline.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Mansioni

• Operate dredging equipment, including cutterhead and suction, to excavate and transport material.
• Monitor dredge operations to ensure production and compliance with project specs.
• Adjust dredge settings (swing speed, cutterhead depth, pump pressure) to optimize performance.
• Communicate regularly with booster operators, tender boats, and shore crews to coordinate dredging activities.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues and escalate as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in daily safety briefings and hazard assessments.
