Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader to ensure safe dispensing, patient care, and efficient store operations.

The role requires traveling within a reasonable radius, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and providing compassionate care to patients while supporting the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Support pharmacy operations and patient care within the district.
• Provide and coach pharmacy staff to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and immunization practices.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.
• Assist in inventory management and maintaining cold chain integrity.
