Full Spectrum Search Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Director of Nursing to support skilled nursing facilities in the Scranton, PA market. This corporate clinical leadership role requires stabilizing nursing operations during leadership transitions and guiding facilities through regulatory readiness.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned DON, willing to travel across the Scranton market with lodging and mileage covered.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania required.
- Minimum 2 years of Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Experience preparing for regulatory surveys.
- Proven experience stabilizing nursing departments during transitions.
- Strong knowledge of federal and Pennsylvania SN regulations.
- Experience leading clinical teams in a SNF environment.
- Strong independent decision-making and clinical judgment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations at assigned SNFs.
- Stabilize nursing departments during DON vacancies and leadership transitions.
- Lead facility turnaround initiatives and improve clinical operations.
- Prepare facilities for federal and PA state regulatory surveys.
- Ensure compliance with federal and PA SN regulations.
- Supervise, coach, and develop nursing leaders and frontline staff.
- Monitor clinical performance and implement corrective actions.
- Build trust quickly when entering unfamiliar facilities.
- Partner with Administrators, Regional leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and promote positive outcomes.
- Step into unit manager or other clinical leadership responsibilities as needed.
- Travel consistently throughout the Scranton market, including overnight stays.
