Job summary

Oak Forest Dental Group and Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering comprehensive patient care. You will prepare patients, assist with procedures, and maintain instruments and charts across multiple office settings.

The role emphasizes infection control, patient communication, and teamwork to ensure timely, high-quality dental treatment and an excellent PPE experience.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training for certification/licensure.
• Must possess and maintain required certificates/licenses as mandated by state.
• Specialty dental assistants must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance and be able to travel between offices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to provide efficient, quality care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean operatory following infection control guidelines.
• Assist orthodontists and other clinicians to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow.
• Record patient charting and clinician notes in the digital chart as directed.
• Support patient care by presenting records, consents and health history to the clinician.
