Job summary

Southpark Meadows Dental Group and Orthodontics in Austin, TX seeks a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You will assist with patient care, radiographs, charting, and front-office coordination to help build a Patients for Life program.

The ideal candidate has a high school-equivalent education, a one-year certificate, and strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma; state-m mandated certification/licensure requirements.
• Specialty Dental Assistants travel between offices as needed with reliable transport.
• Demonstrates ability to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to deliver quality care.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory per infection control guidelines.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed by the clinician.
• Maintain supply levels and prep tray setups for procedures.
• Record patient charting and health history in the digital system.
