Job summary

Clear Lake Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience and creating a Patient for Life. You will perform patient care, office, and laboratory duties, assisting with examinations, radiographs, and charting while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, are self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced dental team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and state certification/licensure as applicable.
• One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school preferred.
• Specialty dental assistants must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; travel between offices may be required.
• Strong communication and patient service skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist the dentist.
• Support PPE and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Escort patients to the front desk and coordinate with the team.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and follow infection control guidelines.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed.
• Prepare tray setups and manage supply levels for procedures.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation in the digital system.
• Contribute to team meetings and uphold company standards.
