PDS Health is seeking a Specialty Dental Assistant for our Turlock, CA offices. You will support clinicians across Endodontics, Orthodontics, and other specialties, travel between offices as needed, and maintain clinical supplies and infection control standards.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, plus relevant state-specific licenses and a one-year certificate. Excellent communication and patient care skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training.
• Certificates/Licenses/Registrations as mandated by state.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must have a valid driver''s license and automobile insurance; travel to multiple offices is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform duties per state Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Coordinate with front and back office teams to keep orthodontist schedules smooth.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and follow infection control guidelines.
• Prepare patients and assist dentist to enable efficient, quality treatment.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral images as directed.
• Prepare tray setups and replenish supplies for efficient patient care.
• Record patient charting and clinician notes in the digital chart.
