Job summary

ARCO is seeking a Traveling Project Scheduler for data center projects to lead from preconstruction through punch list. You will coordinate with owners, design teams, and internal leadership to align scope, budget, schedule, and risk while traveling to sites as needed.

The role requires 3–8 years in project management, strong MEP knowledge, and proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors. Proficiency with scheduling tools and a related engineering field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Around 3–8 years of project management experience; at least 3 years in data center construction or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration in mission-critical environments.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of data center projects from preconstruction through punch list.
• Partner with owners, design teams, and internal leadership to align scope, budget, schedule, and risk.
• Manage GMP/lump sum contracts, change management, and cost forecasting.
• Coordinate across structural, architectural, MEP, and vendor scopes with focus on critical path.
• Ensure project compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Develop and oversee project financials.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to protect schedule and budget.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities to ensure delivery to the owner.
