Job summary

Placed is seeking a senior client-facing leader to oversee hyperscale and enterprise data center construction projects. The role requires travel to project sites as the primary point of oversight and accountability, coordinating across general contractors, MEP trades, and specialty subcontractors.

You will manage budgets, schedules, risk, and predelivery planning, while building strong client relationships through on-site visits and face-to-face meetings.

Responsibilities

• Senior client-facing leader for hyperscale/enterprise data center construction projects, traveling to project sites as the primary point of oversight and accountability.
• Manage multiple concurrent data center builds, coordinating across general contractors, MEP trades, and specialty subcontractors.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and risk management, escalating and resolving issues that arise on-site.
• Lead pre-construction planning, constructability reviews, and commissioning coordination for mission-critical infrastructure (power, cooling, redundancy systems).
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships through regular on-site visits and face-to-face meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control protocols, and local jurisdictional requirements at each site.
• Mentor and support site-based project management and superintendent teams.
• Provide regular project status reporting to executive leadership and clients.
