Job summary

EMERY SAPP & SONS is seeking an experienced Traveling Crane Operator to support our heavy construction projects nationwide. The ideal candidate will operate cranes for pile driving, tandem lifts, and critical lifts, ensuring precision, safety, and adherence to project specs.

This out-of-state assignment requires 5+ years of crane experience, NCCCO certifications (LBC, TLL, TSS), strong load-chart knowledge, rigging and lift planning, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of crane operating experience in heavy construction.
• Experience with pile driving, tandem lifts, and critical lifts.
• Willing to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Strong knowledge of rigging, load charts, and lift planning.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes safely and efficiently for construction activities.
• Perform pile driving, tandem lifts, and critical lifts per specs.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and rigging teams to execute lifts accurately.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects.
• Other duties as assigned

Job description
