Job summary

ARCO is seeking a high-commitment leader to manage ground-up, cold storage and light industrial construction projects from the field. You will oversee the project from day one, ensuring completion on schedule, within budget, and to specifications.

The role requires 5–25 years of construction leadership, travel readiness, and robust proficiency in scheduling, coordination, and cost control. Expect a long-term, safety‑driven career with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on warehouse or distribution center projects (≥100k sq ft).
• Five years of recent experience in the Southeast.
• Willing to travel nationally.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.
• Valid driver's license in home state.
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing/walking long periods, up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review to receive project details for preplanning.
• Prepare schedules, organization structure, staffing, and equipment requirements.
• Direct and control construction to meet specs and schedule while ensuring profit.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to integrate with schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors/subcontractors of schedule changes.
• Assist in preparation of progress and cost reports, requisitions, PO's and invoices.
• Coordinate with owner representatives and architects, maintaining good relations.
