Job Summary:

We’re hiring a Traveling Construction Superintendent with a safety background to join our team and oversee a wide range of commercial, infrastructure, and heavy civil construction projects across the U.S. This is a 100% travel role, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic field environments and has strong site management and safety leadership skills. You’ll work closely with project managers and subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time, and high-quality execution on active job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Oversight & Field Management

· Lead daily onsite operations from project mobilization through closeout.

· Coordinate work activities across subcontractors, trades, and internal crews.

· Maintain daily field reports, site logs, and progress updates using Procore or internal tools.

· Conduct and manage punch lists and final project walk-throughs.

· Site Safety & Compliance

· Enforce jobsite safety protocols and lead toolbox talks and safety meetings.

· Ensure full compliance with OSHA, USACE EM 385-1-1, and project-specific safety plans.

· Coordinate with HSEQ teams to develop and implement site-specific safety plans.

· Trade Coordination & Scheduling

· Supervise multiple trades including structural, civil, mechanical, and general scopes.

· Support the development of baseline and look-ahead schedules.

· Monitor field progress and proactively identify delays or issues.

Required Qualifications:

· 4+ years of experience in construction with a General Contractor (commercial, civil, or infrastructure).

· Strong safety knowledge and ability to lead onsite compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA.

· Skilled at reading drawings, interpreting specifications, and leading field crews.

· Experience coordinating multiple trades on complex job sites.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, Adobe, or similar platforms.

· Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time (nationwide).

Qualifications:

· Experience with federal, DOT, or large-scale public sector projects.

· Background in deep foundations, utilities, structural concrete, or heavy civil work.

· OSHA 30, EM 385-1-1, First Aid/CPR, or other safety certifications.

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Work Environment & Travel:

This position requires 100% travel.

Candidates must be able to work away from home for extended periods.

Projects are located across the U.S. and may involve driving between job sites.
