Job summary

Etzel Engineer and Build, based north of Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent with a background in Commercial, Healthcare and Mission Critical facilities. This is an immediate start, full-time, salary-based position offering a competitive package including a vehicle allowance, per diem, health benefits, and strong growth potential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and/or mission critical construction.
Ability to travel out of state as required.
Strong leadership and client relations skills.
Experience with Procore and Microsoft project tools.
Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

Travel to/from assigned project sites as needed.
Manage day-to-day field operations of construction projects.
Manage subcontractors effectively/efficiently.
Create and maintain professional interactions/relationships with clients, inspectors, engineers.
Manage project schedule, including weekly preparation of 3-week look ahead report.
Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.
Perform and report field layout/survey.
Manage field costs, including labor and material.
