TRAVELING Construction Superintendent - Mechanical (MEP) Construction

We are representing a top mechanical subcontractor recognized for delivering complex, large-scale commercial and industrial projects across the U.S. Known for technical excellence and a strong team culture, they specialize in HVAC, piping, plumbing, and full mechanical system installations for projects spanning data centers, healthcare, life sciences, high-rises, and large-scale commercial builds.

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Superintendent to join their team in a full-time traveling capacity. The Superintendent will lead field operations on major projects, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and site activities to ensure successful execution of mechanical scopes on time, safely, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily mechanical construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and safety requirements
• Lead and manage field crews, foremen, and subcontractors across HVAC, plumbing, and piping scopes
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to maintain schedule and resolve issues in real time
• Enforce quality control, safety policies, and productivity standards on job sites
• Track progress, materials, and labor to support accurate project reporting and forecasting
• Act as the company’s representative in the field, building strong relationships with clients, GCs, and trade partners

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in mechanical construction (HVAC, plumbing, piping)
• Strong background with large-scale commercial or industrial projects
• Ability to lead field teams and coordinate multiple subcontractors/trades
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, construction practices, and safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
• Willingness to travel full-time (nationwide)
