Job summary

Warfel Construction Company is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee all phases of construction across project sites. The role involves frequent travel, coordinating with inspectors and trade partners, and maintaining safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates will have deep construction knowledge, proven leadership, and the ability to manage teams and subcontractors while aligning with budget and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' supervisory experience on commercial construction projects
• Experience managing ground-up, renovation, and/or interior build-out projects ranging from $10M to $100M
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Must have construction background and training.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets project plans and specifications; analyzes methods and sequencing
• Promotes a culture of site safety and conducts weekly toolbox talks
• Maintains daily logs and 3-week lookahead schedules
• Coordinates with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to plan manpower and deliveries
• Discusses changes with the Project Manager and client representatives as needed
• Supervises subcontractors to ensure work quality and compliance with drawings
