Job summary

Hoar is seeking a Superintendent to support a General or Senior Superintendent in overseeing one or more operational areas of a construction project. You may coordinate multiple crews, determine requirements, plan procedures, and verify subcontract work meets specs. Travel up to 100% may be required.

You will read documents, monitor progress, manage safety, and prepare reports. The role requires 5–7 years in construction management and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5–7 years in a construction management role with at least one Superintendent project.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and safety procedures.
• Experience across carpentry, concrete, structural steel, and interior builds.
• Proven leadership of a diverse field team.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily field objectives, timelines, and goals.
• Monitor project progress and ensure quality, efficiency, and delivery.
• Support schedule and budget monitoring with Senior Superintendents; coordinate with subcontractors.
• Read construction documents to determine requirements and plans.
• Record data and produce reports on personnel, production, and status.
• Maintain site safety through inspections and regular meetings.
