Job summary

Hoar Construction seeks a Construction Superintendent to support the General or Senior Superintendent in overseeing field operations on Nashville-area projects. You will coordinate crews, schedule activities, ensure safety, and verify that work meets project specifications. Travel up to 100% may be required.

The role requires 5–7 years in construction management with at least one Superintendent project, strong skills in scheduling, cost control, and MS Office, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years in construction management with at least one Superintendent project.
• Experience with scheduling, cost control and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of carpentry, concrete, structural steel and interior build-outs.
• Ability to lead a diverse field team.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field objectives, timelines, and goals.
• Monitor project progress and ensure quality across teams.
• Assist schedule/budget monitoring; coordinate recovery with subcontractors.
• Read construction documents to plan procedures.
• Record data and produce reports on personnel, production, and status.
• Oversee site safety through inspections and trainings.
