Job summary

Quantum Industrial Services is seeking a Traveling Construction Safety Coordinator to support safety operations on large-scale industrial projects across multiple states. This role maintains a strong field presence, conducts inspections, supports training, and collaborates with project leadership to mitigate risks.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in construction/industrial safety, OSHA 30, and strong communication skills. Willingness to travel extensively is essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of construction, industrial, or mechanical safety experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and identify hazards.
  • Enforce OSHA, ANSI, company, and project safety requirements.
  • Lead toolbox talks, orientations, and safety training.
  • Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Monitor PPE, safe work practices, and high-risk activities.
  • Review JHAs, PTPs, permits, and other safety documentation.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field teams.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across the project.

About the Role

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and identify hazards
  • Enforce OSHA, ANSI, company, and project safety requirements
  • Lead toolbox talks, orientations, and safety training

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of construction, industrial, or mechanical safety experience
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction required
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and construction safety practices
  • Experience conducting inspections, risk assessments, and safety training
  • Strong incident investigation and documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field personnel and project leadership
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety/compliance technology
  • CHST, CSP, or related safety credentials preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively
