Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and high safety and quality standards. This role requires frequent travel and coordinating between clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

You will oversee scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and field leadership of engineers, superintendents, and PMs.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Demonstrated success delivering mid- to large-scale construction projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, documents, processes, and technology (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active onsite presence and attend project meetings (GC, subcontractor, safety, etc.).
• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
• Lead project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
• Manage and supervise project teams including Project Engineers, Assistant PMs, and Superintendents.
• Ensure adherence to specifications, codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Facilitate communication with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve subcontractor bids, change orders, RFIs, and documentation.
• Conduct regular site visits, safety inspections, and project meetings.
• Provide detailed reporting and forecasting to senior leadership.
• Support business development by maintaining client relationships and assisting in proposals.
