Job summary

Corvant is seeking an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to oversee day-to-day on-site operations for large-scale construction projects. The role emphasizes leadership of field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities include coordinating multi-trade activities, leading meetings, inspecting installations, and ensuring contract specifications are met.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in construction or mechanical contracting, with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Master Plumber license required.
• OSHA 10, CPR, and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management and field software (MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, Vista).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily job site operations, including supervision of field staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate project activities across multiple trades to ensure quality workmanship and schedule adherence.
• Lead and participate in project meetings, safety briefings, and coordination sessions.
• Oversee installation, layout, and execution of major construction components such as HVAC, plumbing, or piping systems.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays or constraints, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site inspections to verify safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
