Job summary

Fading West Construction seeks a Project Engineer to oversee construction projects from inception to completion in Buena Vista, CO. Travel up to 50% is required. The role interfaces with PMs and site supers to ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

Requirements include 2+ years in construction or a CM degree, fluency with Procore and MS Office, reading plans, and a valid driver’s license. In-house benefits support health, retirement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of construction experience required or Construction Management degree.
• Experience with Procore and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Experience with reading plans and basic framing layout required.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans to relay information with subcontractors and FWC staff.
• Basic knowledge of job-site tools & equipment maintenance required.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects during the pre-construction phase.
• Manage subcontractor agreements and performance.
• Prepare agendas and distribute minutes for weekly OAC meetings.
• Utilize Procore Project Management Software to manage drawings and submittals.
• Lead site inspections and safety briefings; manage RFI’s and submittals.
