In this position, you will travel 100% of the time to work on high-profile projects such as transportation, commercial buildings, wind farms, and more across various geographical areas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys traveling, working on diverse projects, and advancing their construction material testing career.

General Responsibilities

• Travel to and from assigned projects
• Assist with tasks and perform basic tests on soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, and asphalt under supervision
• Document and communicate testing results accurately using digital devices
• Progressively take on more responsibilities and training
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment
• Follow safety protocols and report safety concerns
• Maintain quality standards and work collaboratively
• Transport materials safely to labs using provided vehicles

Requirements

• Must travel 100%
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent training
• Proficient with laptop use and Microsoft Office
• ACI certification in relevant areas (e.g., Concrete Testing)
• Successful completion of safety certifications
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record

Preferred Certifications

• NICET Level III in Construction Materials Testing or Geotechnical categories
• ICC certifications in structural and material categories
• American Welding Society (AWS) SCWI
• ASNT Level III in nondestructive testing areas
