Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Traveling Construction Materials Technician based in Dallas, TX. You will perform field sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry and asphalt, and document results for project teams. You’ll transport samples to the laboratory and submit electronic daily reports.

Requirements: 2+ years of testing experience, ACI certification, valid driver’s license, and safety focus. Outdoor work, lifting 50–75 pounds, occasional long hours.

The successful candidate will effectively communicate with project personnel, materials technicians, clients, and contractor representatives regarding construction activities, project requirements, testing, observation, and inspection needs and results. The technician will transport samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis and prepare and submit electronic daily test and observation reports. This role offers in-depth technical training and industry certifications based on experience and skill level. Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
