Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Construction Inspector to join the Critical Infrastructure Command Team. You’ll observe, monitor, and document field work on transportation and water projects across the U.S., coordinating with diverse crews and owner teams to ensure quality, safety, and conformance with contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of comparable field experience.
• 2-4 years of related experience preferred.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I is mandatory.
• Certified Welding Inspector certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe construction in accordance with project specifications, including asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, bridges, storm and sanitary pipe, waterline pipe, curb and gutter, dry utility installation, signal inspection, and more.
• Track and report project/construction progress and status
• Work closely with the owner, project management team, contractor management team, owner’s engineers, and utilities
• Ensure adherence to Safety policies
• Ensure adherence to the client’s Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs
• Assist project staff in their duties, including change orders and pay item tracking
