Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, and elevated slabs.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; aid in placing reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures with plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman/PM regarding issues, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
