Job summary

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Set and place forms to elevations and locations; aid in reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, carpenter's level, laser or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for work at height.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager on issues, materials, or safety.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• May signal concrete deliverer to position truck for pouring.
• Observe safety policies and guidelines.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
