Job summary

B is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher in McKinney, TX to perform carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete. You will build forms, set elevations, and assist with placement of concrete while ensuring safety and adherence to project drawings.

Responsibilities include erecting forms, verifying accuracy with levels and transit, and coordinating with foremen and project managers to resolve issues and maintain workflow on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations.
• Aide in installing reinforcing steel as needed.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman/Project Manager about problems or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pour, place, and finish concrete per drawings.
• Erect and set forms for floors, walls, columns, tilt-wall, etc.
• Maintain safety policies and use of PPE.
• Coordinate with team to ensure forming accuracy and alignment.
