Job summary

Company B is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to perform a range of carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete structures. Duties include erecting and setting forms for foundations, floors, walls, and tilt-wall or other cast-in-place elements per drawings.

The role requires ability to read prints, construct and place forms, and coordinate with foremen while adhering to safety guidelines on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and prints.
• Experience constructing and placing concrete forms.
• Commitment to safety policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using various materials and forming systems (Symon forms).
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, level, laser, or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.
• Communicate issues to Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with concrete placement as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
