Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or contracting industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete components.
• Set and place forms to elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, carpenter level, laser or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for structures above ground level.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about problems, materials, or safety.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
