Job summary

B is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to perform formwork, placement, and finishing for concrete structures in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will interpret drawings, prepare forms, and assist with pouring under direction of the Foreman and Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Experience in concrete formwork and finishing.
• Communicate with foreman and project team clearly.
• Strong adherence to safety policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Set forms to elevations and may assist with reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using various materials and systems, primarily symon.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate issues with Foreman or Project Manager.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placing concrete as needed.
• Follow safety policies and guidelines.
• May signal concrete deliverer to position truck for pouring.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
