Job summary

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints for concrete forms.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Set forms to proper elevations and locations; assist with placing reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily Symon forms.
• Verify accuracy using plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for work above ground level.
• Communicate with Foreman/Project Manager about issues, materials, or hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
